Starting your mental health journey can be daunting and overwhelming, and it’s common to not know where to begin. I foster a non-judgmental environment where my clients feel safe to explore and express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. As a Muslim woman and daughter of first-generation immigrants, I am passionate about attuning to my clients’ identities, needs, and strengths. As humans, I believe we are the experts of our own lives, but sometimes we need some guidance, reflection, and community to continue to enrich our lives and move from a state of surviving to thriving.

I hope to help my clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves to motivate them to become active participants in their own lives. As my clients are on their own journey, I am on my own journey as a lifelong learner, constantly researching new tools and perspectives to share with my clients to help them grow.

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor. I received my Master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University and have 4 years of experience in the field, working with many different populations. I am trained and informed in many evidence-based practices in my work, such as emotion focused therapy (EFT and EFIT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and more. I am dedicated to finding the best approach for my clients to ease their mental health journey.
