Heather Jones, LCSW

Hi I’m Heather!  I absolutely love working with people—particularly adolescents and young adults–towards the goal of living the best life possible!  Through collaborative conversations, I can help you recognize what’s going on–and prioritize what you want to work on using your strengths to do so.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked in several different settings as a clinician, program coordinator, school social worker, and have supervised master’s level students as well as social workers who are working toward licensure.  I received my master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Widener University in 2006.

I utilize a variety of techniques and skills derived from various evidenced-based treatment modalities—such as CBT, Solution Focused, behavior modification as well as Mindfulness and relaxation interventions– to help deal with issues such as low self-esteem, communication, depression, anxiety and/or mood disorders.

I believe in working in partnership with you to identify and utilize your strengths to help you sort out challenges and achieve your goals, with the realization of how important it is to identify and acknowledge all the different aspects of your life that impact your well-being—like your physical health, support systems, work or school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process.
