Katrese Carter-Robinson, MSW, LCSW, Clinical Supervisor
Katrese Carter Robinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Morgan State University. And a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University School of Social Work. With her Master’s Degree, she has dedicated several years working with families in South Jersey. She has collaborated and received mentorship by a plethora of clinical professionals allowing her to focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), DBT, resiliency and motivational workshops, grief counseling and stress inoculation techniques. Katrese is an EMDR therapist. Katrese’s additional qualifications have allowed her to facilitate MST presentations at Rutgers and Rowan University for graduate students. In addition, parent workshops for management of adolescent behavioral support and clinical supervision of interns studying the social work profession. She is currently a clinical therapist and clinical supervisor providing in person and telehealth mental health support to couples, adults and older adolescents. As clinical supervisor she is supporting new licensees (LSW, Licensed Social Workers) to develop and conceptualize engagement and ethical practice to support examination of next level of licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). Katrese is currently planning a 5 part webinar series to aide in the development of therapeutic skills to support individuals managing anxiety and depression. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but South Jersey is where she raised her son and has resided for the past 24 years.
