Alicia Ott, LCSW
Hi, my name’s Alicia! I believe in meeting people where they are in their lives. I am a huge champion of challenging and empowering youth to be independent, confident, and their own person. I like to create a team environment using a collaborative approach with the youth and family. Together, we can strive to build a solid foundation based on trust, respect, compassion and being open minded. There is nothing more exciting when a child recognizes their potential in themselves and finds their voice!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. I graduated with my MSW from Rutgers University in 2014 and have a certificate in Violence Against Women and Children. I have been a clinician in various settings: therapeutic foster system, school social worker (in- district and aspecial services district), and intensive- in community therapy.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, low self- esteem, mood disorders, Autism, ADHD, ODD, behavioral and cognitive disabilities. Evidence- based modalities I utilize in therapy are CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution- focused Therapy while incorporating behavioral modification and management strategies to help support youth in the home. I am excited and look forward to working with you!
