Neha Pappireddi, LAC

Hi, I’m Neha!

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. I have prior experience working with adults with disabilities, in child development settings, and in community mental health care.

I enjoy working with children and adults, empowering them to navigate challenges with greater clarity. Our work can help you understand your identity, process past and current experiences, learn coping skills, and expand your resilience. I support individuals with anxiety, self-esteem challenges, attachment concerns, and life transitions. My clinical passions also include working with immigrants, body neutrality, and identity work.

My approach is client-centric, adjusting therapy to the person’s needs within a culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed framework. As an Indian woman and a child of immigrants, I understand the value of recognizing and respecting our unique identities. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping individuals accept their experiences while committing to behavior aligned with personal values. Creativity is encouraged in the therapeutic space through the implementation of art therapy and bibliotherapy. I utilize a psychoeducational approach, using Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to equip individuals with knowledge of their internal processes.

Therapy is a process that can bring more peace, fulfillment, and functionality to one’s life. Individuals working with me can expect to be met with curiosity and compassion. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach. I believe that therapy is not only a place to deconstruct previously held beliefs, but also a place to be celebrated for your commitment and authenticity. We can create a space to pause, explore, and learn. All I ask is that you show up as you are, we’ll do the rest together.
