Collin Maier, LPC, ACS Assistant Clinical Director

Assistant Clinic Director | Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) | Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

As a professional counselor and certified supervisor in the State of New Jersey with over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I bring a warm, compassionate, and empowering approach to both clinical work and leadership. In my role as Assistant Clinic Director, I am thrilled to support the development and growth of our team while ensuring high-quality, client-centered care across our counseling center – all to ensure that when you’re at Peaceful Practices, you’re in capable hands!

In my individual practice as an LPC, I believe that therapy should be both practical and affirming, helping clients develop real-world tools while guiding them toward self-acceptance and authenticity. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who have felt unseen or marginalized-working from an affirmative, trauma-informed lens to promote healing and growth for all.

My clinical approach is informed by hundreds of hours of advanced training in CBT, DBT, IFS, REBT, and trauma-focused modalities. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and stress-related disorders, men’s issues, suicidality, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University, with focused study in attachment theory, LGBTQIA+ mental health, and chronic illness coping strategies. I continue to bring that same depth of focus to the individuals and teams I support today.

Here at Peaceful Practices, our team is dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our clinicians, while also ensuring ethical, culturally competent, and effective care for our clients. It is my absolute honor to walk alongside both clients and clinicians on their respective journeys here at Peaceful Practices!
